This was a very short week for us here at Lakeview. In P.E. classes we are wrapping up our volleyball and bowling units with 8th grade as they prepare to begin ballroom dancing on November 29th!
Sixth and seventh grade students will finish up their units at the conclusion of next week and then will begin square dancing on December 8th.
Our bowling trips with both 7th and 8th grade students were excellent! Everyone seemed to enjoy themselves while throwing a few strikes as well!
I hope everyone has a very relaxing and enjoyable Thanksgiving break!

Fitness Testing...
This week all students will be participating in our Presidential Fitness Testing for the fall season. We will also complete the same tests in the spring so that students are able to compare their scores and check for improvement. The following tests are included in the Presidential Physical Fitness test: mile run, pull ups, sit and reach, shuttle run and one minute sit-ups.
At the conclusion of our testing, students will bring their fitness sheets/scores home for you to review. Please sign the sheet and have your child return it to their P.E. teacher.
Flag football units are moving along well. The weather has been amazing for our entire unit so hopefully that will continue until we wrap up flag football and move into our indoor units.
The Varsity volleyball team is currently 5-2 on the season with our final regular season home game this Thursday against Westmont. Come on out and support your Spartans!!!
